GIFT SHOP

I will draw a Transparent Drawing for you. The gift shop is now open.

I know, I know.  After all of these years, I am actually stooping so low as to offer to do a drawing for you, for money.  Finally, there is an economic component to these pages. A few of you have written to me asking, what is the point of all of this if you are not seeking direct economic gain?  Others have written and asked if they could purchase a drawing. These sorts of lingering questions regarding the meaning of everything are resolved with that great western capitalistic institution, the gift shop!

This is the way that it will work.  

Plan A:
Select any of my drawings, and I will produce a version of it, using the same geometry and media assembly.  

Plan B:
I will produce a drawing of a holistic form from one or two images that you send to me.  These could be images of anything you want: your house, for example, or your dog.
You can either select a media assembly from one of my drawings, or you can leave the media assembly up to me.

What you will get:
–The Drawing: approximate image size of 5 x 8, on 140# paper that is 9 x 12 (see image at bottom).
–NFC Icons: two or three photos, authenticating your drawing.  For example, the first photo might be of the base geometry that I established from your image(s).  The second image might be after the application of the first layer of lines and tone. 
The drawing will be shipped, and the NFC icons will be e-mailed to you.  

Cost for Plan A or Plan B:  $200. 

Super Deluxe
Either Plan A or Plan B + a signed copy of Transparent Drawing with a personalized sketch.

Cost for Super Deluxe: $250.  

The drawing at the top of the page is an example of Plan A.  I did this as a version of the original drawing directly below.  I used the same assembly and the same geometry.  I did the drawing for a dear reader, who first asked if they could purchase the drawing below.

 

A compendium of my drawings published in the past few years can be found on Pinterest.  Or you might find a drawing in these pages that you like.  We’ll see how this goes.  I want you to be happy with the drawing that you get.  And this has to be fun for me also.  

What you will be doing is commissioning your own personal holistic form. You will get a working drawing, not artwork.   There will not be immediate gratification.  You will not be able to make two quick clicks and then get something the next day. There will be a slow building of expectation.  The drawing will be for you, and will only exist as a result of your actions.  It will almost be as if you drew it, or would like to imagine as having drawn it. The drawing will be authentic.

Commissioning Process:

1. Send a note to me at kurt@transparentdrawing.com.  Include a screen shot of my drawing that interests you.
2. If Plan B, include your photograph(s).  
3. I will respond to you so that we may resolve order details as well as any specific requirements that you have.
4. You will receive a payment request via PayPal.  After I receive payment, you can expect your drawing in about 2 weeks.
