RIEMANNIAN GEOMETRY
Riemannian geometry is a branch of mathematics that studies curves in three dimensional Euclidean space. I was interested in the image that I found below, which then resulted in my transparent drawing above.
Categorize this page in the Scientific Diagram folder. As stated a few pages ago when we were looking at Voroni diagrams, scientific diagrams are an amazing source for form generation. A great many of them are, more or less, architectural. Find a scientific diagram. Then draw some version / interpretation of it, transparently, on your paper. Suddenly you have a form, and a way of putting that form together, depicted that you would not have thought possible. You end up with a completely rationalized, complex, three dimensional form, that you produced with a pencil and a piece of paper.
